Reflection Over my three years of being in the eComm program I have learned many valuable takeaways, but today I will only share one from each of the eComm guarantees. First technology, the main takeaway I got for technology is the importance of remembering that technology is not some force to be wielded but a obstacle to push through. This means that technology does no always do what you want it to, but when you finally get it working you have grown in knowledge and experience. Second is collaboration, from my time working on the TV 25 website I learned that sometimes when working with other people specially a client it is very hard to balance creating something they envisioned and creating something that is actually functional and looks good. Third is communication, there are many times, like working on my PHP sites where I had to communicate with some of my classmates. For this site I redesigned www.smittyslg.com to be a mobile first site. This was a very interesting redesign because it forced me to follow the same content of the old site while having me design it in a way that works on mobile. I can't say that I like doing mobile first but I know it's importance and I should get used to it.

In this site we used only css to make the site how we wanted. We were given the HTML file and were not allowed to edit it. I had to use my knowledge of css to arrange the site to look how it does. I enjoyed testing my skills with this site.

 This makes you think because you can't tell if the logo is or is not a link. Also the titles look like links but are not obvious.  This makes you think because the Bing logo does not look like a link but it is. Also the icons are not standard so you have to think what they are. The red heading looks kind of like a link but it is not clear. The black text does not look like links but it is.

Index page link:  http://eravensonline.net/students/823cw21/ In this project we revamped our index page. We integrated things we learned from recent projects. This includes color schemes, depth, and Google web fonts. I used the background to create a good looking color scheme. I used shadows and CSS ribbons to add depth to the site. I chose two google web fonts to add, one for the headings and one for the text.
