Zoe's Zebras Logo

I was told to make a logo for Zoe's Zebras, And at first I was going to make it a zebra shop. Then I thought that that did not make because selling zebras is probably illegal  so I turned it into a wildlife protection agency for zebras. That is why I chose the shield. I chose the double Z
and the single Z designs for obvious reasons but The one that looks like an hour glass was a Z that I accidentally joined, but it looked like a nice logo so I kept it. The top ones are nice and smooth but the bottom ones have missing patches to look like a zebra.

    The faded ones make it seem like it is well-worn and used a lot almost like its been on a t-shirt for a long time

    Some variation on a shield is perfect for a protection agency. I too like the fading/grungy sort of look. Maybe also look into other African Safari-ish looking fonts? I like this, but it has kind of a Zorro look, and the Z's could be even more prominent. You could also play with letting the Z's break out of the confines of the shield - and I think I like one Z better than 2.

    I like the idea of the guitar pick with the Z in it with it fading, but I am a little lost of what the logo stands for. Maybe try adding in some more detail into what your company name is.

    I like the first variation of the shield with the faded look on it. Something you could do is to add a slogan of some type, so people know that it's an agency.

    I like the third one with the single Z. You should try and move things around and see how it looks. Maybe look into different fonts, I agree that it looks a little too much like Zorro.

    I think that the shield idea for a protection agency is a great idea. I personally like the shield shape in the upper left. Although the hourglass looks cool I do not think that it should be used for your logo.

    The shield idea is great, I quite enjoy the third one over on the second row. I like the rough fade in the shield and the Z too.

For this site I redesigned www.smittyslg.com to be a mobile first site. This was a very interesting redesign because it forced me to follow the same content of the old site while having me design it in a way that works on mobile. I can't say that I like doing mobile first but I know it's importance and I should get used to it.

Don't Make Me Think chapter 1

 This makes you think because you can't tell if the logo is or is not a link. Also the titles look like links but are not obvious.  This makes you think because the Bing logo does not look like a link but it is. Also the icons are not standard so you have to think what they are. The red heading looks kind of like a link but it is not clear. The black text does not look like links but it is.
